I remember how things were in the 80s and the 90s. People used to meet a lot. They would just naturally depend on each other. Meetings were casual back then, they didn’t need a special invitation. One could just drop in on each other. Most of the time tea and lunch were offered. But what one needed most was human interaction and the assurance that one could depend on each other....

Yesterday a woman said, I can help you with social media marketing. It is free. I reluctantly agreed. I said this is my number let’s talk. She immediately shot back saying she prefer google meet instead of calls as she would like to share the screen. Well, nothing wrong with that. But seeing a face on the other end also that of a stranger (a woman) is a bit discomforting. One feels exposed....
